Boat Tour Brochure

brochure program

Prompt:

Design a brochure for the fictitious company Piddle Paddle Tours. This company wants to start including print marketing materials in their marketing approach. They want to start off with a brochure to leave in various lacations around town. They’re hoping this will help them reach more tourists.

Choose a fold style that you think conveys the copy well. The design needs to be paginated correctly in order to be a print-ready, multiple-page foldable brochure.

Description:

I chose to use a tri-fold paper fold for this brochure. This provided me with many different areas to sort out all of the text and images. I like how this fold requires multiple steps to open, creating multiple layouts. I created two spreads, each with 3 panels. The design is intended to be printed on double sided paper with one spread on each side. Two of the panels are the same width with one being shorter to compensate for folding.

This brochure should attract the target audience of tourists with its images of beautiful scenery and eye-catching typography. When creating this design I focused on the use of grids to create balance and alignment. This helps the design be visually appealing as well as display the information in a way that is easy for the viewer to digest.
